Our History
Out of Love Comes Joy
Tied to tradition and born from beauty, Jon Netti combines function and form to create unique, quality, pieces to adorn your space.
Inspired by joyous childhood moments, founder, Alicia Bermingham, created Jon Netti as a namesake and ode to her parents, John and Lynette. Lynette, raised on a country farm, instilled a strong respect for nature throughout Alicia’s childhood, and John a clever craftsman would always procure the best quality materials for any project. Their love for one another, their girls, and their family and friends were often shown through celebratory feasts, lavish gift giving, and quiet, precious moments filled with adoration. These values are carried through into the creation of each Jon Netti piece, charged with the belief that they have the power to bring joy to you, your surroundings, and the ones you love.
Our Mission
Sustainability is Rationality
Throughout every process and procedure, from inception to distribution, sustainability has been central to our mission. We carefully source and thoughtfully produce each component of the Jon Netti products, from our wax to our ceramic glazes.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable, but we think it’s so beautiful that we like to hold onto it and re-use it to house other special things.
Once the wax within our ceramic vessels has been expended, re-purpose it as a vase, fruit bowl, centrepiece or sculpture.

Made by us and the humble honeybee, we are committed to using only non-toxic materials. Free from parabens, phthalates, sulphates, chlorine, artificial additives, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals.

Each piece is lovingly created in our studio and touched by the hands of our artists during every step. This results in a keepsake that is unique to only you.

We endeavour to source products that support local Australian farmers, industries and small businesses. We also do our part, to make sure our supply chains are ethical and sustainable in their practices.

We are committed to reusing or recycling our waste products.

Our packaging is 100% recyclable, as well as our shipping boxes and tissue paper. Re-use them all to pay it forward.

We acknowledge that our studio operates and functions on Darkinjung lands and pay our gratitude and respect to that of the Darkinyung people.

We donate a portion of our sales to the Wheen Bee Foundation, who works to protect our bees, our food security and our ecosystem health.

The Wheen Bee Foundation is an Australian not-for-profit charity that promotes awareness of the importance of bees for food security, and raises funds for research that addresses the national and global threats to bees. Our donations help address the national and global threats to bees by providing funding for much-needed research and education including initiatives that strengthen honey & native bees, improve pollination efficiency and increase food security.
